Emre Neftci

I have studied Physics in EPFL (Lausanne) and completed my PhD at the Institute of Neuroinformatics (UZH-ETHZ), where I have explored systematic configuration techniques and the ability to carry out general-purpose computation in soft Winner-Take-All networks of VLSI spiking neurons.

As a post-doc, my current research interests mainly focus on the study of spiking neural network models for practical computational purposes and their applicability on current and future generations of large-scale VLSI multi-neuron systems.
